Probably, the first thing that your parents want to visit with you is the monumental area of Barcelona. We know that this area is a bit boring but surely it will do that you know better our city, Barcelona:

SAGRADA FAMILIA: It is a catholic basilica designed by Antoni Gaudi, a catalan architect. The construction was started in 1882 and nowadays it is still building. The Sagrada Familia is the most visited monument in Spain. The ticket costs 21 euros.



LES RAMBLES: It’s a street in Barcelona center. It is very popular with lots of tourists and shops. Les Rambles has 1.2 kilometers and it connects Plaça Catalunya with the Christopher Columbus Monument at Port Vell. If you want to give a present to a friend or a relative you can come here.



MONTJUÏC: It’s a district and a hill 173 meters high. It is one of the two mountains in Barcelona. In Montjuïc there are the Montjuïc’s castle, an historic monument; the Olimpic Stadium, where it was inaugurated the 1992 Olimpic Games and nowadays it is used for concerts and sport championships; and the 'Pueblo español'. There are a lot of museums, too: Caixa Forum, Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya,...



TIBIDABO: It is the highest mountain in Barcelona. It measures 512 meters high and in this mountain there are a funfair, an astronomic observatory and Temple Expiratori Sagrat Cor.



PORT OLIMPIC: It is a marina in front of 'La Vila Olimpica de Poblenou'. It was built in 1991 and nowadays it is a turistic and leisure centre of the catalan capital.



PLATGES DE BARCELONA: Barcelona is a mediterranian city with lots of coastline kilometers. You can enjoy the beaches of Barceloneta, Nova Icaria, Poblenou, Sant Sebastià, San Miquel.



PASSEIG DE GRACIA: It is a famous street in Barcelona. In this long street there are La Casa Batlló i La Pedrera. Both are humanity patrimony.
